For all those hoping to play the upcoming Call of Duty WWII on the Nintendo Switch, Sledgehammer Games has some bad news for you.

That’s because in a Reddit Q&A with the developer, they were asked directly if there would be a port of the game to the Nintendo Switch.

“Yes or No?? Is Call of Duty WWII coming to Nintendo Switch?. Sledgehammer Games responded bluntly with a response of “No”.

The last Call of Duty game to feature on a Nintendo console was Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty Ghosts which was available on the Wii U, back in 2013.

With the strong sales figures of both Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and with the soon to be released Super Mario Odyssey guaranteed to be a hit, there’s no real reason Nintendo to push for a Switch version of Call of Duty.
